Cross Country Promotions is a family owned and operated business.  In 1987, I was working for the then fledgling Ohio Wine Association. My Husband was just returning to the construction trades.  Our family consisted of  our two teenage girls with the first at college, the second showing her Quarter horse around the country and a little boy playing Little League.  At that time, the seven wineries in the northeast corner of the state were looking to share their stories with a curious public.  As often happens, need meets opportunity...so the wineries needed brochures distributed and the Winchell family needed tuition dollars.  We found neighbors [adults and their kids] to sort brochures and to deliver them.  We found a local carpenter to build racks.  Cross Country Promotions was launched in October.

Over the years, the business expanded to adjacent counties and served clients from both the immediate area and nearby states.  It supported the horse projects, tuition for all three kids and still hires neighbors from Austinburg for both delivery and keeping our accounts in order. 

We appreciate all of those who have used our services through the years and are looking forward to the coming opportunities to expand the business as we drive additional tourists and their dollars into the communities in which we live and work.
